Making a reservation, a simple and 100% secure process

Please enter the dates of your stay in Barcelona and the number of guests on the top of our website. .Your are requested to make a reservation down payment for the 10% to 30% of the apartment cost by credit card ( via Paypal, the world leader in online payment. We have chosen this option so that WE NEVER HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER).
If you choose to pay by credit card you will receive a confirmation e-mail in a few seconds as soon as your payment is accepted.

How can I book?

• We do require a down payment to hold your reservation. The amount will depend on the apartment you have selected: it will be either 10% or 30%, never more.
• When booking you must specify the exact number of people that will make use of the apartment. The exact number of guests given upon reservation should occupy the flat. Apartment occupancy should never exceed the stated number of guests assigned to it, except for babies under 2 years old.
• Down payment for the reservation deposit should be made via credit card. The rest of the rent should be paid in cash on the arrival date or by bank transfer one week before arrival.
• Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until Stay in Barcelona has received the down payment amount and you have received a confirmation e-mail.
• On arrival you will also be asked for a deposit ( the amount of the deposit depends on the apartment you have booked) as a guarantee for the apartment. We will ask you in most cases for a credit card authorization, please read the terms and conditions about behavior and conditions of se of the apartment.
• We have a three night minimum reservation policy for all apartments.

When should I arrive in the apartment and leave the apartment?

When you book an apartment, you select a date for the check-in and a date for the check-out. You cannot enter the apartment before 3PM and will have to leave it at 11 AM.

Arrival
Check in time is at 3:00 pm.
departure
The limit check out time is at 11 am.
Most of the time, the apartment will be checked when the maid comes for cleaning. In this case, we will send you a copy of your guarantee within one week after you have left. Should there be any problems, you will be advised by email.
Loosing the apartment keys has a charge (depends on every apartment and owner)
The apartment shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of each guest. The apartment HAS TO BE LEFT AS IT WAS FOUND.

Arrival and departure:
1. Along with the confirmation reservation e-mail, Stay in Barcelona will send you an e-mail containing all the information you need upon the arrival: apartment address and contact telephone number in order to confirm your arrival time in Barcelona.
2. You are requested to reply as soon as possible with the time of your arrival in Barcelona, in order to allow our staff or the owner of the apartment, to meet and give you the keys upon arrival.
3. On the arrival date, please call to the contact number informed, either from the airport terminal, train station or if coming by car, 30 minutes prior to your arrival. This will allow our staff or the owner to be at the apartment at your arrival.
4. When you arrive at the apartment, our staff will be waiting for you at the agreed time. We will show you how the equipment works and give you the apartment keys. You will be requested to sign a short-term rental contract, which will be also signed by the owner.
5. Then you will be requested to pay the rest of the amount charged for the whole period of accommodation in cash, or by bank transfer, one week prior to your arrival. There are some apartments for which we can take full-payment by credit card adding 3% to the total. You will also be requested to pay a security deposit of between 100 to 400 Euros against damage made during your stay. Payment will be made in cash, and will be returned in full when you leave the apartment, assuming it is undamaged of course!
6. Please, contact us during business hours for restaurant recommendations, directions if lost or general questions regarding either the apartment or Barcelona. We can also book a taxi for you on your departure date, if requested in advance.
7. Departure time should be before 11 am. A member of our staff will be at the apartment at the agreed time to:
• Re-Collect the apartment keys.
• Return the refundable deposit minus any damages which may have occurred.
• In many cases, and to give you more flexibility, we will let you leave the apartment and then let the maid check it. You will then receive a copy of your credit card authorization by email.

Cancellation
Should Stay In Barcelona S.L. be unable to provide the client with the property he has booked, it will have the right to transfer him to a property of similar characteristics.
If no agreement is reached each contractual party is authorized to cancel the contract. In this case Stay In Barcelona S.L. . will refund the client all monies paid (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if it were the case).
Stay In Barcelona S.L. . will not be liable for further claims by the client.

Behavior
The client signing the rental agreement will be liable for the correct and decent behavior of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, Stay In Barcelona S.L. shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right to claim any type of compensation.
In case of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Stay In Barcelona S.L. at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

Liabilities
Neither Stay In Barcelona S.L. or the owner of the apartment shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fires, robbery or criminal behavior.
